The Asicatic Lion Mascot Savaj At 36th National Games 2022
The official mascot for the 36th National Games 2022 is Savaj (Asiatic lion). The National Games 2022 will be held in 6 different cities of Gujarat.
Savaj, the Asiatic lion, will serve as the National Games‘ official mascot in 2022. The mascot represents the blending of Indian heritage with the notion of a quickly developing India emerging as a world leader.
The mascot’s posture exemplifies some of the most distinguishing personality attributes in a sportsperson, including self-assurance, enthusiasm, a strong sense of motivation, an inner will to triumph, a strong sense of concentration, a natural leader, and a goal-setter.
The mascot is characterized by its tenacity and perfectionist tendencies. Savaj- taranhar, which means “savior” in English, symbolizes the well-known Asiatic lion.
Gujarat will host the 2022 Indian National Games from September 27 through October 10, 2022. After a seven-year hiatus, India’s famed multi-event athletic exhibition is back. Kerala last hosted it in 2015.
The six Gujarati cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar will host the National Games in 2022. The National Games will be held in Gujarat for the first time.
The 36th National Games will include 7,000 competitors competing in 36 different sports, making this edition the largest yet.
All 28 states as well as 8 Union Territories will compete in the Games, which aim to spread the message “Sports for Unity.”
