Switzerland’s Matterhorn mountain turns into tricolor Indian flag

The Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, standing in the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. As a way of encouraging unity and expressing solidarity with India, the Swiss Government lighted up their iconic Matterhorn mountain as the tricolor flag of India.
Gerrt Hofstetter, Swiss Light Artist has been lighting the 4,478 metres pyramidal peak in Switzerland by projecting the flags of various nations in a series across the world on Saturday(April 18,2020) to give the message:“hope and strength” to fight the corona pandemic.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Twitter page shared the picture of Matterhorn mountain with tricolor Indian flag posted by Indian Embassy in Switzerland with a caption,“The world is fighting COVID-19 together. Humanity will surely overcome this pandemic.”
The death toll due to COVID-19 in India have raised to 543 and the number of cases as of Monday(April 20,2020) is 17,265. So far, 2,547 of COVID-19 affected members were recovered by the deadly infectious virus.
