Sunil Gavaskar rebukes KL Rahul’s batting at the no.6th position favouring Gill!

Huge attention is turning towards the heated comments over KL Rahul by the former Indian Cricket legendary player and the commentator Sunil Gavaskar who said during the match,
“He needs to play his natural game. He was trying to nudge the ball to give his partner a chance to score a century. But look what happened. This is a team game and there’s no need to do that. He was more focused on helping his partner reach a milestone than playing his own game. It was a half-hearted shot”
Many experts expressed their dissatisfaction for letting Rahul at the 6th position rather as an opener or at the third position. He got dismissed quickly in the last two ODI matches at this position and the concerns & questions rose as the ICC Champions trophy approaches closely, does this experiment work?
“You don’t have to go into a shell. This is a team game. Sometimes you might look to try and bat it out, tap the ball back because you want to help the partner to get a hundred, but this is how it can end up. A half-hearted shot.
India doesn’t need to do anything stupid at this point” he added.
