Gujarat Assembly Election 2022: 48% Turnouts In Gujarat Assembly Polls
The first phase of the Gujarat elections begins today. 89 seats in 19 southern Gujarat districts are up for election. However, the second-phase campaign has also begun.
Voting for the first phase of the Gujarat elections is now taking place today, or Thursday. In total, 89 seats are up for election in 19 districts in southern Gujarat, including Saurashtra-Kutch. On the other side, the second phase’s campaign has also begun in the interim.
The Gujarat Assembly’s first round of voting has already started. 34.48% of eligible voters have turned out as of 1 pm.
In the days leading up to phase 2, Union Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on the campaign route.
As of 3 p.m. in the first phase of the Gujarat Elections 2022, 48.48% of eligible voters had cast ballots.
According to PM Modi, the Gujarati people currently have faith in the BJP, and if there is faith, there is no loss of blessings.
He added that Congress promoted the “Garibi Hatao” motto, but as a result of its misinforming the populace, poverty increased throughout its leadership.
