Sidharth’s ‘Yodha’ Postponed Amid Clash With Katrina’s ‘Merry Christmas’

Siddharth Malhotra’s ‘Yodha’, is an action movie that is set to bring a lot of excitement to the fans. Siddharth, known for his charming roles, has leaped into action and is ready to show his fans a new side of his talent. 

The movie was supposed to come to the theaters on December 8, but there’s been a change. To avoid competing for attention with Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Merry Christmas’, which is also releasing around the same time, the makers of ‘Yodha’ decided to postpone it. 

Now, ‘Yodha’ will come out on March 15, 2024, so the audience can enjoy both films without having to choose.

Talking about ‘Merry Christmas’, it’s a film directed by Sriram Raghavan, known for his thrilling narratives. The film is a crime thriller that takes place on Christmas Eve. 

It is a story about how an ordinary day turns into an extraordinary one for Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi’s characters, and everything changes. 

What’s unique about ‘Merry Christmas’ is that it’s being shot in both Hindi and Tamil, and it will feature different sets of supporting actors for each language version. The makers have piqued the interest of the audience with this unique approach.

The decision to change the release date of ‘Yodha’ seems wise, considering how both movies are big projects and have their own audience. By not releasing on the same day, the films have a better chance to perform well at the box office without dividing the audience.

‘Yodha’ is now scheduled to make a big splash in cinemas in March 2024, and Siddharth’s fans seem to see him in this new avatar.
