Shiva Ayyadurai, Inventor of Email, Applies For Twitter CEO Post
Shiva Ayyadurai had invented email at the age of 14 only. The US govt had awarded him the first copyright for email in 1982. Now he has applied for Twitter’s CEO post.
India-born Veteran Shiva Ayyadurai, who “invented email” at just 14 years old, has expressed an interest in assuming the post of Twitter CEO following Elon Musk stating that he’d like to retire from the role.
Mumbai-born Ayyadurai, aged 59, who has 4 degrees at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with an PhD in bioengineering He took to Twitter to submit an application for the job.
“I am interested in the CEO position @Twitter. I have 4 degrees from MIT & have created 7 successful high-tech software companies. Kindly advise of the process to apply,” Ayyadurai tweeted in a message to Musk.
Ayyadurai’s tweet received a lot of the attention of many, with many users responding from internet users.
“Best of luck to you. I’d expect your application to be rejected because you mention your education,” another Twitter user wrote in reply.
Ayyadurai invented a computer program in 1978. It was identified as “email”. He shared his post via social networks on the 30th August,

The US government granted him his premier Copyright for Email in 1982 which recognized him as the creator of email.

In the last week, there was a report that Musk is currently looking for the next Twitter CEO following the loss of his own poll to determine whether he should step down the position of Twitter chief or stay on.
The poll showed that an astounding 57.5 percent of the respondents would like him to step down as chief executive of the micro-blogging site.
Following that, the billionaire announced that he would quit as the chief executive officer of Twitter in the event that he encounters anyone “foolish enough to take the job”.
