Samsung August Security Patch essential for Users: Report

Samsung is soon going to release its August 2024 security patch that is being said to be very critical for its device users. The Korean tech giant has confirmed that this critical security layer would be available for its phones and tablets in the following month. According to sources, the update fixes a problem called CVE-2024-32896 that affects devices that operate on android.
Key Highlights
The main highlight of the security update is it fixes the CVE-2024-32896 that was first observed in June 2024 and needed a quick resolve for pixel devices. The update would be released based on the countries, device and network provider.
The US government required its Federal employees to update their pixel devices by July 4, 2024. Developers of the security focussed GrapheneOS ROM revealed another vulnerability identified as CVE-2024-29745 that every smartphone brand needs to resolve fast enough for proper functioning.

New Features and Improvements
With this security update, Samsung is expected to focus on bringing improvements in its cameras especially on its S24 series along with improvements in Artificial Intelligence named One UI 6.1.1. Last but not the least, the South Korean Firm could release its first Android 15 based One UI 7.0 Beta update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 and other high end devices on its range.
