Sai Pallavi Replaces Alia Bhatt In Ramayana Starring Yash, Ranbir
Alia Bhatt was originally cast as Mata Sita in the upcoming Ramayana movie, but due to negative responses, the filmmakers decided to replace her with Sai Pallavi.
Sai Pallavi will be replacing Alia Bhatt in the upcoming film Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana. The shooting for the film is expected to begin in February 2024.
The world of Ramayana has already been created using special effects. Alia Bhatt reportedly left the project due to scheduling conflicts.
Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi have already completed their look tests for their respective roles. The first part of the film will focus on Ram and Sita’s story, leading up to the conflict of Sita Haran.
The team has been working on creating a visually stunning world for the film, but the emphasis will be on the storytelling and emotions between the characters.
Yash has gained worldwide attention through his ‘KGF’ movies. Sai Pallavi is known for her roles in Gargi and Love Story. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have previously worked together in the film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
Alia Bhatt was set to play the character of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. It is being said that Alia Bhatt had date issues and that’s why she stepped down from the role.
But here is the reality! As people got to know that Alia Bhatt was going to play the role of Mata Sita in the upcoming Ramayana movie, the movie started getting huge backlash from people.
The filmmakers anticipated this, and they decided to replace Alia Bhatt with Sai Pallavi for the role. As you know, Sai Pallavi indeed has a better image (reputation) in the industry.
There was a time when Bollywood so-called superstars used to ignore or underestimate the South Indian film industry. They thought of only themselves as ‘Indian’ celebrities.
Meanwhile, actors and actresses from Sandalwood, Tollywood, Kollywood, and Mollywood were only considered as ‘South-Indian’ celebrities.
But in recent years, people have developed a strong dislike for nepotism, the Bollywood mafia, and the Bollywood monopoly. Most movies are becoming victims of boycott trends.
In light of this, the entertainment industry had the idea to include actors from both North India and South India in their films and call each movie ‘pan-India.’ This could help stop the boycott trend.
However, there have been mixed reactions to this idea so far. Some films are doing very well, while others, like ‘Aadipurush,’ are facing significant backlash from the audience.
