S. Jaishankar’s ‘Namaste From Bharat’ Slammed Canada At UNGA
In the ongoing tension between India and Canada, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has criticized the Justin Trudeau Canadian government.
While Jaishankar refrained from directly speaking against Canada in the United Nations General Assembly, he strongly criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during an event in New York.
He condemned the deep-rooted connections of Canada with separatist forces, organized crime, violence, and extremism.
He accused that Indian diplomats & politicians are being threatened in Canada, in the name of democracy, and attacks on diplomatic missions are taking place. Such behavior is a matter of concern for him.
In a discussion at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar expressed his concerns about threats to Indian diplomats and Indian diplomatic missions due to recent incidents.
He said that they are genuinely worried, and it’s quite generous to consider such incidents as just democracy in action. However, if a serious event were to occur, he would take note of it as a government.
Regarding Prime Minister Trudeau’s allegations, Jaishankar assured that if the Canadian side provides specific information related to the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the Indian government will take action.
He said, “We have told the Canadians that this is not the policy of the Indian government. Secondly, we have said that if you have evidence, please tell us. We are ready to consider it.”
It’s worth noting that Canada has not yet provided any public evidence regarding the allegations related to the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. It proves that Trudeau PM had never any evidence to prove his allegations on India.
You must be aware that the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made explosive allegations at the beginning of last week, accusing the Indian government of involvement in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Although India has categorically denied this and labeled it as a baseless and motivated act of Tudeau’s administration.
After Trudeau’s allegations of Indian involvement in the murder, Canada suspended its visa services in India. Thus India did the same for Canada.
Amidst the strained relations, India has issued advice to its citizens and those traveling to Canada to exercise extreme caution in the face of rising anti-India activities and support for abhorrent crimes in Canada.
First and foremost, it’s unclear why Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and his government have shown such sympathy for terrorists and separatists.
When India provided Canada with a list of terrorists residing on their soil, instead of extraditing these terrorists or taking any action against them, Canada provided them with shelter and citizenship.
Ever since Canada tried to mess with India, several Western countries, Australia, and even nations like China and Sri Lanka, have turned their backs on Canada.
