RCB vs LSG IPL 2023: LSG Defeats RCB By 1 Wicket In A Last Ball Thriller Match
Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) has defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 1 Wicket in a thriller IPL match.
Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) pulled off a thrilling one-wicket win against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match number 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday.
Chasing a mammoth target of 213, LSG got off to a disastrous start and lost three wickets for just 23 runs. However, Marcus Stoinis showed his batting prowess and took the RCB bowlers to the cleaners to keep LSG in the hunt.

Nicholas Pooran recorded the season’s fastest fifty, reaching the landmark in only 15 balls and single handedly changed the complexion of the match with his big-hitting prowess, smashing seven sixes and four boundaries to take LSG to a spectacular win.
LSG skipper KL Rahul struggled and was caught by Virat Kohli off Mohammed Siraj in the 12th over.
Earlier, RCB’s top three batters, Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell, slammed contrasting fifties to power their side to a mammoth 212/2 against LSG.
Kohli was at his aggressive best, making 61 off 44 balls while Du Plessis was scratchy but found his timing to be unbeaten on 79 from 46 deliveries, and Maxwell smacked 59 off just 29 balls, treating the crowd to some scintillating strokeplay. Bangalore fetched a whopping 108 runs in the last seven overs.
RCB tasted their second success in the fourth over when Deepak Hooda got a faint edge to Dinesh Karthik behind the stumps off the bowling of Wayne Parnell.
To make matters worse for LSG, Parnell struck again a ball later when Krunal Pandya edged one to Karthik.
But, Stoinis and Pooran’s brilliant partnership took LSG to within sniffing distance of a memorable win. In the end, LSG clinched the thriller on the last ball of the match.
