RCB in IPL playoffs: Played 15, won 6 and reached finals thrice
Since the tournament’s debut 14 years ago in 2008, Royal Challengers Bangalore has been unable to win the Indian Premier League title. RCB has made it to the playoffs (the last four stage) eight times in the 15 editions of the premier T20 league, finishing second three times – in 2009, 2011 and 2016.
So far, RCB has played 15 IPL playoff games, winning six and losing nine.
Following a seven-wicket loss to Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, here’s a look back at the franchise’s playoff adventure.
