Overall Review:
Shankar shows that he can write a compelling political drama. The picture benefits greatly from Thaman’s music. Shameer and Ruben’s editing makes sure the movie keeps a fast tempo while Tirru’s cinematography masterfully conveys the story. Rich and up to standard are the production values.
Overall, Game Changer is a good political drama that is enhanced by outstanding performances. SJ Suryah gives an engaging performance that matches Ram Charan’s intensity in both roles. One of the film’s highlights is their clashes. However, the overall impact is lessened by a few pointless scenes and the second half’s lack of emotional depth. The movie is nonetheless worth seeing in spite of these issues particularly for those who enjoy political dramas.
