Pushpa 2: Everything You Need to Know

“Pushpa 2: The Rule” is one of the most eagerly awaited films from India in year 2024, thus continues the story of the legendary character of Pushpa Raj with Allu Arjun. As the sequel to the blockbuster “Pushpa: The Rise,” this Telugu action drama is one among the biggest budget Indian movies that are said to have been made at an estimated cost of ₹400-500 crore.

“Pushpa: “The Rise” Its 2021 release, helped the audience familiarize with the intricate reality of red sandalwood smuggling in Seshachalam forests in South India. After the first part, the movie demonstrated the journey of Pushpa Raj from a simple worker to a topmost smuggler. Blessed with excellent performances, beautiful narrative and music especially the hit song “Srivalli”, the show garnered remarkable response throughout the India irrespective of regional language differences.

The sequel is also produced by Mythri Movie Makers along with Sukumar Writings on direction of Sukumar once again. Going by the movie’s trailer, the film seeks to up the ante on the first film in terms of production and story. However, as much as 10% of the film footage was filmed at the same time as the first part, director Sukumar later changed his mind and began a new round of principal photography in October 2022.
