Project K Now Titled Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas In Sci-Fi Futuristic World
The movie “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, unveiled its first glimpse and official title at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The film features popular actors like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan.
The teaser showcases a futuristic world facing darkness and destruction, with orphaned children and violence.
The story revolves around warriors, portrayed by Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, who rise to combat the dark forces and bring hope to the world. The teaser has drawn comparisons to popular sci-fi franchises like Star Wars and Marvel.
The film’s official title, “Kalki 2898 AD,” was revealed during the event and has since become a trending topic on social media. The movie is a fantasy sci-fi project produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and is set to release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Deepika Padukone, one of the lead actors, was not present at the Comic-Con due to the ongoing actors’ strike in Hollywood. As a member of SAG-AFTRA, she is supporting the union’s demand for better pay and protection against artificial intelligence in the industry.
The teaser was met with excitement and anticipation from fans, especially because of the star-studded cast and the intriguing dystopian theme.
This will be the first time when Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will be featured together. Fans are eagerly waiting for the movie after watching its glimpse. The movie is expected to have a big theatrical release and attract audiences from most of the regions across India & worldwide.
Prabhas, known for his role in the Baahubali series, recently opened up about his character in the upcoming Indian mythological sci-fi film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
In a short interview, he revealed that he plays Lord Vishnu and described his character as a funny superhero.
