In the current scenario, some experts have predicted about presidential candidates from one of three groups.
1. Adivasi Candidate
It’s probable that the BJP would nominate a Mahadalit or a tribal as a candidate for President or Vice President of the country this time.
This potential is particularly available to the Mahadalit or tribal face of the South.
2. Sikhs Candidate
The BJP is currently concentrating its efforts on Punjab. The Sikh community’s anger of the BJP has grown since the farmers’ uprising.
In such a scenario, the Sikh face may be considered as a presidential or vice presidential contender.
3. Muslim Candidate
There has also been talk of making a Muslim candidate for President or Vice President. In recent media reports, two names have been mentioned in connection with this.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi are among them.
North Indian or South Indian
On the condition of confidentiality, a BJP national level leader stated that whatever the nominee is, one of the two positions, the face of North India on one side and South India on the other, may be chosen. The political calculus from north to south may be simplified in this way.
