PM Modi to Attend G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Apart from the events of G20, he will hold separate meetings with several world leaders.
Global leaders like US President and Chinese President Xi Jinping will also participate in the two-day summit.
Prime Minister Modi arrived in Brazil this morning continuing his three-nation visit. As part of the G20 Troika along with Brazil and South Africa, India has been actively contributing to the summit discussions.

During the summit PM Modi will highlight India’s stance on various global issues.
The theme of the summit is “Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet.” This reflects the focus of Brazil on social inclusion, poverty reduction, sustainable development, and reforms in global governance institutions.
Last year New Delhi successfully hosted the G20 summit, this year the summit in Brazil is expected to build international cooperation for a more inclusive and sustainable world.
