Ukraine -Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to the Russian president Vladimir Putin regarding the annexation of Ukraine.
Late on Thursday, PM Modi dialed the Russian counterpart urging him to end the violence in Ukraine which started in the morning. Ukraine had appealed to India to intervene in the matter post which Modi contacted the Russian leader to speak to him about the development.
