PM Modi attends ‘The Sabarmati Report’ screened at the Parliamentary Auditorium
‘The Sabarmati Report’, 2024 political drama movie was directed by Dheeraj Sarna and starring the Filmfare Award Winning actor Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra in the leading characters. This movie was released nationwide on November 15, 2024 and received praises from wider range of audiences around the nation.
Screening at Parliament
The tragic incident which took the lives of 59 people who were returning from the pilgrimage has been filmed and titled as “The Sabarmati Report”. This movie has been premiered at the Balyogi Auditorium in Parliament on December 2, 2024 (Monday) around 4 pm. Many pivotal political leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other NDA Mps.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted about this movie “The Sabarmati Report” by praising its movie makers and the actors after the premiering event of the movie,
“It is good that this truth is coming out in a way that is accessible to everyone. A fake narrative can only last so long-facts eventually prevail”
The producer of the movie Ekta Kapoor’s father Jeetendra and the male protagonist actor Vikrant Massey has also joined the screening.
