PM Modi Approves the 8th Central Pay Commission for all the Central Employees
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the glad tidings in the Cabinet after the official approval granted by PM Modi for the 8th Central Pay Commission on Thursday. This pay commission has been observed every decade and analysed to bring changes in the salary structure and pensions. The term of the 7th Pay Commission will end in 2026 which was set up in 2016 and this timely approval will aid in regulating the salary structure of the central government employees.
“Following the commitment made by the Prime Minister to establish pay commissions in a regular rhythm, the 7th Pay Commission started in 2016, and its term will be completed in 2026.” said Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw
