Pilot Rubbishes Rumour Of Changing Political Affiliations

Last updated on June 12th, 2021 at 07:33 am

Sachin Pilot made a joke of a claim that he might be joining the saffron party by saying that the concerned person might have spoken to ‘Sachin Tendulkar’. It was literally a slap on the face of the ace cricketer as well as the BJP when former Rajasthan deputy CM rubbished this claim made by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi.

Mr. Pilot was quoted saying that Ms. Joshi has spoken to the wrong Sachin as ‘she doesn’t have the courage to speak to me.’ Apparently, Joshi had made claims on television that Pilot had been disgruntling about the Congress and expressed the desire to join BJP.

As is it, leaders and MLAs in Rajasthan seem to be complaining about leadership issues with the Congress Party. With Sachin Pilot placing the table straight, there is some sense of relief for the party, it seems. Apparently, there were certain demands that were not being fulfilled, for which party members like Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have reassured the disgruntled lot.

Most of the complains are coming from the Pilot camp itself. Leaders include Vishvendra Singh, Ved Prakash Solanki, Mukhesh Bhakar and Ramniwas Gawria. They are asking Pilot to speak to the Congress high command and also feel that that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot does not want to appoint those in the Pilot camp.

Ved Prakash Solanki, MLA from Chaksu, took the example of Navjot Singh Sidhu and his ability to be heard in 10 days in Punjab. The same has not been applicable in Rajasthan even after a span of 10 months. There is a demand for power to be decentralized, something Congress would never let happen due to their old ways of politics. But the smell of mutiny is undeniable.

Rahul Gandhi has been busy fighting tooth and nail to show BJP down but somehow continues to fail to keep his own together. Earlier on, Jyotiaditya Scindia has been known to have changed sides after being left high and dry with the Congress in March 2020. He was welcomed with open arms.
