Petrol and Diesel Prices Unchanged in Chennai for 193 Days: Check the Latest Metro City Prices
After analysing trends of fuel prices for several months now it is the point in Chennai that prices of petrol and diesel have remained stable for 193 consecutive days. Today petrol is priced at Rs 102.63 per litre, while diesel costs Rs 93.38 per litre in Chennai.
Every day oil companies set fuel prices. They used to set prices based on two key factors, the first factor is the global crude oil price and the second considerable factor is the exchange rate between the Indian rupee and the US dollar.
The point is that these factors change regularly but the fuel prices in Chennai have remained the same for more than six months.
