Official announcement from Apple TV+, the third chapter of Severance has just been verified
The jubilant audience looks forward to the next season. A fun and light-hearted online banter was exchanged between executive producer/director Ben Stiller and Tim Cook, whom he asked to know the Season 3’s indictment in eager anticipation. Tim’s response was witty
“Severance season 3 is available upon request.”
The fans just want more than what they got in a cliffhanger ending in Season 2. Questions were raised by the finale concerning the fate of Mark S. (Adam Scott) and his colleagues at Lumon Industries:

Will Season 3 Wait as Long as Season 2?
The long-awaited season between Seasons 1 and 2 was remembered by fans for the long wait, having been caused mainly by COVID-19 and strikes across the industry. However, Ben Stiller went on record stating that the gap between Season 2 and Season 3 would not be that long.
On the back of the renewal, however, one has not been provided with an official date for the series’ third season, and filming has not begun. But with the success of the other two seasons behind it, the probability for the next is looking high.
