Nation Observes Indian Navy Day With Powerful Warships & Aircrafts
The whole nation observed Indian Navy Day 2022 on 4th Dec with the roar of powerful warships & aircrafts. President Murmu, PM Modi & Defense Minister praised the Indian Navy.
On the occasion of Navy Day here on Sunday, the Indian Navy put on a spectacular Operational Demonstration to display its formidable combat prowess.
The event was held at Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam, with Droupadi Murmu, President of India and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, as the chief guest.
The Navy Day was being observed outside of New Delhi for the first time this year.
The President was greeted by sailors from the sail ship INS Tarangini and the submarine INS Sindhukeerthi as they passed the event.

A slithering operation by the Navy commandos from the Sea King helicopter was followed by a display of the combat prowess of the Marcos (Marine Commandos), who, following a rescue operation, destroyed an oil rig.
Both the Hawk and the MiG 29 K aircraft were on display. The warships of the Navy, including the Frigate INS Sahyadri, Missile Corvettes INS Khanjar, INS Kadmat, and INS Kirch, Destroyer INS Delhi, and Destroyer INS Kochi, were on display.
The commandos performed a search and rescue operation while lowering themselves from the Naval Helicopter Chetak and the Advanced Light Helicopter ALH Mach-3.
Then, four helicopters displayed a flawless landing on the warships positioned offshore.
Along with a fly-past by Naval aircraft, another highlight of the occasion was the firing of rockets from the warships.
After making a free fall from an airplane, skydiver Anup Singh gave the President a book titled “The History of the Indian Navy.”
On this occasion, the renowned musical group Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and renowned lyricist Prasoon Joshi released a special song about the Indian Navy.
Along with the Navy officers, troops, and their families, the President, Chief of Naval Staff, and Union Minister of State for Defence applauded Shankar as he passionately performed the song.

The song was instrumentally supported by the Indian Navy Band. The thousands of spectators gathered along the Vizag coastline to witness the Navy Day celebrations were treated to a visual treat by the illumination of the ships arranged in a configuration.
The National Open Air Range in Kurnool district and the Advanced Night Vision Products Factory of Bharat Electronics Limited in Nimmakuru, Krishna district, were both inaugurated by the president.
The Rayachoti-Angallu portion of NH-340, a four-lane Road-over-Bridge on NH-205, and six-lane grade-separated structures on highways in Kurnool city, Dhone, and service roads on NH-44 are among the national highway projects she also opened that totaled more than Rs 925 crore.
