Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival 2024
The Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival is widely known for the phenomenon which is a sharp line in the sky at sunset and the natural occurrence which cannot be seen in any of the other places in India and even in the world. This lively carnival which celebrates nature has been established in 2013 during the end of December of every year.
This 2024 edition aims to feature the varieties of activities which includes paragliding, bungee jumping, cultural performances, art exhibitions, and culinary delights. This year the carnival will be taking place for five days till the end of this month, Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal and SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh inaugurated one of the vibrant carnivals of India “Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival 2024” in the Uttarakhand’s ‘Queen of the Hills’.
Golf Cart, shuttle service, and a hydraulic truck for the Mall Road Area have been added in this carnival to attract a large number of visitors by the authorities. And it began with a performance of a band by the Indo-Tibetian Border Police Force and CRPF, during the evening the renowned folk singer and Jagar artiste Basanti Bisht performed the songs which narrates the traditions of Garhwali and Kumaoni.
