Investigation discoveries and an active probe
In the interrogations the police came to know that the module spearheaded by Sapre had at first demanded ₹50 lakh from a mediator, to get Baba Siddique eliminated. However, disputes arising from the contract and payment made forced them to step out of direct implementation of the plan. This is an ongoing investigation by the crime branch in order to catch the other three important accused persons and to know more about the conspiracy behind the murder.
