Missing Dog Reveals An Illegal Animal Trade Industry In ‘Lakadbaggha’

The plot of Lakadbaggha centers on a vigilante guy who discovers an illegal animal trade industry while looking for his lost dog Shonku.
A vigilante defends animals who lack a voice in the latest movie Lakadbaggha (Hyena) by filmmaker Victor Mukherjee.
Anshuman Jha plays the guy on a mission in the film, which is advertised as “India’s first film about an animal lover avenger.”
The action-trailer thriller features raw hand-to-hand fighting action and martial arts sequences, and it also stars Ridhi Dogra, who is making her film debut, Milind Soman, and Paresh Pahuja.
Anshuman Jha portrays Arjun in Lakadbaggha, an unexpected hero who trains his father to stand out for animals, particularly dogs, who lack a voice. The story of the movie centers on a vigilante in Kolkata who discovers the illegal animal trade at Kolkata port while looking for his lost dog “Shonku.”
Additionally, it has an international cast (French DOP Jean Marc Selva, Belgian composer Simon Fransquet and action by Ong-Bak 2 fame Ketcha Khamphakdee).

Anshuman Jha trained in New York with Tsahi Shemesh (trainer of the Avengers renown) for the action form “Krav-Maga,” which the makers claim delivers Israeli martial arts in “a raw manner” to Indian screens.
Lakadbaggha, a First Ray Films production, is scheduled for release on January 13. Eksha Kerung, a Sikkim native who is also a professional boxer, will make her acting debut in the movie.
