Kerala Sports Minister, V.Abdurahiman confirms in a press conference on Wednesday, he said
“All the financial assistance for organising this high-profile football event will be provided by the merchants of the state”.
It is expected that he would revisit India in 2025 for an International match in Kerala. The Minister expressed the proud and confidence because of the historical event that their state gonna make in the forthcoming days.
Messi’s Previous Visit to India
Thirteen years ago, Messi and his team mates of Argentina visited India in 2011 for a friendly match against Venezuela. The match took place at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. It was a draw match between them.
