March 2025 Bank Holiday: when will the bank be closed? Check state wise list

Banks across the Indian peninsula are expected to observe a shutdown of up to a total of 8 days in March 2025 in addition to regular second Saturdays and Sundays. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has put down a list of the days holidays including the ones for various great Festivals such as Holi, Id-Ul-Fitr among others.

Both scheduled and non-scheduled banks will employees [will all remain at home] the second and the fourth days of Saturday and Sunday. and from the addition of these days, the public holidays will be on different dates in the states.
Services of online banking, ATM, and digital transactions are available during openly observed holidays.
