Previously his wife Rabri Devi and elder son Tej Pratap Yadav were also questioned by the agency for nearly four hours. Both are co-accused in the case.
Tejashwi Yadav criticized the probe. He called it politically motivated. “We are being targeted because we are in politics. Had I not been in politics, my name wouldn’t even come up,” he said.
On the other hand, JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar dismissed the political vendetta claim, saying that Lalu Prasad had been convicted in the fodder scam earlier. “He is facing the result of his past actions,” he added.
The land-for-jobs scam dates back to Lalu Prasad’s tenure as Railway Minister during the first UPA government.
