Ahead of elections to be held in Goa early next year, Arvind Kejriwal has already started making the much-needed promises. The National convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he has a seven-point scheme in employment to offer. He has ensured 80 percent jobs if elected in the coastal area. This includes the private sector representation too for the locals.
Referring to the mining benefits and jobs that might be allocate to those outside of the coastal state, he reassured everyone that this will not happen. His seven-point scheme promises, one job per unemployed family, a minimum wage of Rs. 3000, Rs. 5000 worth jobs for those affected by the mining ban and due to Covid tourism loss, skill university formation, etc.
He has gone to the extend to say that one unemployed youth in any family will be given a government job. It literally looks like a plan out of a Bollywood movie come to life. Earlier one he had made other promises, in what was looking like a dig at his competitor in BJP’s election manifesto.

He referred to Goa’s BJP Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and made a counter promise of free electricity and free water supply in Goa. Goa is currently under BJP rule and has suffered over mining restrictions and unemployment to a large extend. The ban comes after a Supreme Court ruling. This was Kejriwal’s second visit to the state in the last two months. In his previous visit, he gave the electricity and water candy out to the people.
