JEE Main 2026: Registration, Application Correction Window Opens – UPDATE

The NTA (National Testing Agency) recently revealed that the application correction window for Session 1 of JEE Main 2026 will be open from December 1 to December 2, 2025, until 11:50 PM. This limited correction period allows the candidates who have already registered to make significant changes in their application forms. The last day for registrations for Session 1 was November 27, 2025, and there were no later extensions. Application Correction Details
The official JEE Main website (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) is the platform where candidates can log in to perform corrections. The fields that can be edited are the candidate’s name, mother’s and father’s names, class 10th and 12th details, birth date, sex, caste, sub-caste/PwD status, photo and signature, and exam city. Certain important data like mobile number, email address, and permanent address cannot be modified through this correction period. In case of increase in fees due to changes, candidates will be obliged to pay the extra amount online through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. After the submission of corrections, the application will be locked and no more changes will be accepted.
