Jawan Advance Bookings Cross ₹1 Crore In US 15 Days Before Release
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie “Jawan” is breaking records by selling a lot of tickets in the US even before it’s out. The advance bookings for Prabhas‘ film “Salaar” are also doing well overseas.
Rajinikanth’s movie “Jailer” has already made a huge amount of money worldwide and is about to reach an even bigger milestone.
Upcoming film “Jawan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Atlee, is creating a stir even before its release. The movie has already sold over Rs 1 crore worth of tickets in the US, setting a new record.
This suggests strong global potential and hints at a huge opening day. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared that the advance bookings in the US have surpassed $150,000 (about Rs 1.25 crore), with 367 locations, 1607 shows, and 9691 tickets booked.
Unusually, “Jawan” opened advance bookings in select foreign markets three weeks ahead of release, banking on Shah Rukh Khan’s popularity in places like the US, UK, and the Middle East.
The movie features Nayanthara in her Hindi debut and Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, along with Anirudh’s music.
Another much-anticipated film, “Salaar,” starring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, is also making waves abroad.

The movie’s advance bookings have crossed $100,000 (about Rs 82 lakh) with 141 locations, 363 shows, and 4456 tickets booked for its first day. “Salaar” is set to release on September 28.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s “Jailer” has achieved a remarkable milestone by crossing ₹556 crore at the global box office and is expected to reach an impressive ₹600 crore shortly.
Sunny Deol’s latest film Gadar 2 has also entered the ₹400 crore club. The film Gadar 2 has become the second highest Bollywood grossing movie.
