The ED has filed a detailed report in a Delhi court where they have accused Sukesh Chandrasekar as a conman saying that he along with others is involved in a 200-crore money laundering case. They said that he had extorted the amount from a businessman’s wife while he was lodged in Tihar jail.
The agency later on found out that the Race 3 actor also had links in the matter. She had received money from Chandrasekar and financial receipts are evidence to it. Other than that, she had also received gifts such as a horse worth ₹ 52 lakh and a Persian cat worth ₹ 9 lakh. The investigation is still going on and hence, the actor has not yet directly been charged with anything but the links are too strong to be avoided and hence the agency is going ahead with the questioning.
