The IPL star player and a commanding all-rounder of the Madhya Pradesh team of Ranji Trophy, Venkatesh Iyer on Thursday has made the fans of KKR as his ankles twisted during the clash between the Kerala. The match took place at St.Xaviers’ College in Thiruvananthapuram. He was forced to retire from the match due to this ankle twist after just three deliveries. The audience were able to witness the pain of Iyer who couldn’t hold on the intensity which was increasing gradually. So, he was taken back to the pavilion by the physio and after some time he was seen at the dugout sitting with a great upset.
Venkatesh Iyer has been retained by his IPL franchise KKR for Rs.23.75 crores.
