Indusfood 2026 Showcases India’s Rising Power in Global Food Trade

Indusfood 2026 will become one of the most dynamic international platforms that underscore the increased India dominance in international food and beverage trade. The event, which will take place at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, between January 8 and 10, will unite the producers, exporters, buyers, policymakers and culinary experts in the world. Indusfood 2026: Strengthening India’s Global Trade Presence
The Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) is organising Indusfood 2026, the ninth edition of the Indian flagship food and beverage sourcing exhibition. It will showcase more than 120 countries and thousands of confirmed international purchasers, and Indusfood 2026 will be the biggest and most strategic food trade hall in Asia.
The purpose of the exhibition is to promote the image of India as a reliable provider of safe, traceable and sustainable food products as well as give the Indian businesses the long-term export opportunities.
Government Support and Strategic Partnerships
Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan will launch Indusfood 2026 as this shows the keen interest of the government to empower food processing, increase exports and increase the access of India into the global markets.
The Abu Dhabi Food Hub will launch the IndiaUAE Food Corridor, which is one of the major attractions at Indusfood 2026. This project will automate the supply chains, enhance food security and bilateral food trade. Saudi Arabia will also mark its 75 th anniversary at the exhibition showcasing the strengthening of the trade relationship between West Asia and India.

The inaugural Indusfood 2026 will have specialised platforms including Bharat Mart session by DP World, which will be dedicated to export infrastructure, integration of logistics and facilitation of trade. In this regard, the APEDA-managed Bharati Initiative will be used to present agri-food startups in India through innovation pitch events where they will meet international investors and purchasers.
Strategic international tasting which involves cheese and wine tasting by Cyprus will also provide an opportunity to the Indian and global consumer to taste the diversity of the products and innovation.
Culinary Heritage and Skill Development
One of the significant cultural and educational aspects of Indusfood 2026 will be the World Culinary Heritage Conference, where the chefs, policymakers and leaders of the industry will come together to discuss culinary innovation and preservation of heritage.
India International Centre of Culinary Leadership (IICCL) in collaboration with IFCA will conduct a five-day intensive training programme to 150 chefs providing the Level-1 certification of the status of an Ambassador of Indian Cuisine. This venture will focus on marketing Indian food to the rest of the world using trained chefs.
Global Participation and Future Outlook
Some of the top-level Turkish, Fijian and other international culinary organizations like Worldchefs will be present in Indusfood 2026 and this will boost the international interaction of India further. As the entire world moves towards ethical sourcing and quality food, Indusfood 2026 will be at the right place to connect Indian producers with the global market.
