Indian Institute of Technology to spread its wings across UAE
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), one of India’s most esteemed institutes, will shortly be based in Abu Dhabi.
IIT Delhi stated that a new curriculum would be released in 2023.
The demands of its potential abroad campuses will be taken into account in the revised curriculum, claims WAM. In addition to the UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Tanzania, and Malaysia are all planned as locations for IIT’s offshore campuses.
IIT, a government-funded engineering school in Delhi, is managed by the Indian Ministry of Education.
According to the 2021 QS World University Rankings, IIT is one of the top educational, scientific, and research institutions in the nation, and it is ranked number 54 globally in engineering and technology courses.
