India wins 2nd test against England. Bumrah, Shami declared match-winner after thrilling win
Finally! The Indian cricket community is feeling the spirit after the Indian side registered a spectacular victory against England pulling off an all-out. It was the whole team that delivered on the ground but a special mention here goes to Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, who were marvelous with the bat.
The two cricketers who are known for their pace and yorkers as the bowling unit of the team were in their absolute best as they delivered at the much critical point gaining India its vitry at the Lord’s test. Their heroics gave the visitors an upper hand over the English side marking the end of the second test between the two nations.
India had declared with a score 298/8, which is not a big score for a team like England but for this time, the bowlers did their magic spell to turn on the game in their favor. Shami and Bumrah were undoubtedly stars of the match with former scoring 56* of 70 delivered and the man of the moment–Bumrah— 34* of 65.
You know that you have done something really commendable when the greatest of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar himself acknowledges the act. The master blaster took to his Twitter handle to congratulate the team.
“Calling this partnership crucial would be an understatement. It has changed the complexion of the game! Well done Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah,” he said.
It was indeed a historic moment for the Indian team as among the SENA teams( South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) this was India’s first 50+ ninth-wicket partnership ever. Before this, only VVS Laxman and RP Singh recorded one such victory against Australia.

Even VVS Laxman congratulated the team, especially acknowledging the partnership between Shami and Bumrah. He also took to his social media handle to say that even if bowlers are not the best with techniques, they have one of the biggest hearts to pull off such a stunner.
The Indian cricketing body, BCCI, also tweeted about the spectacular moment saying that this day will indeed be remembered throughout history.
But it was definitely not all that easy for the Indian side as the two bowlers who stuck to the end had to face sledding from the opposite side. Butler and Bumrah got into a heated argument, which was even visible on the face of the captain, who reacted animatedly from the Lord’s balcony.
Bumrah showed solid application with the bat after the exchange and even opener KL Rahul agreed that the exchange Bumrah getting further engrossed in giving India a win.
