India To Get Its 4th Vande Bharat Express, Delhi To Chandigarh In 3 Hours
India is going to get its 4th Vande Bharat Express today which will cover the distance between Delhi to Chandigarh in just 3 hours including 2 hydroelectric projects.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a new railway on Thursday, one may travel from Delhi to Chandigarh in just around 3 hours (13 October).
The Vande Bharat Express train will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in Una, Himachal Pradesh.

It will be the 4th Vande Bharat train to be presented in the nation. Compared to the past models, this one is more modern because it is lighter and has a faster top speed.
From Delhi, the train will chug toward Una’s Amb Andaura Railway station. The most recent Vande Bharat Express train will travel between Ambala, Chandigarh, Anandpur Sahib, and Una six days a week, excluding Wednesdays. The train will reach 100 km/h in just 52 seconds as well.
In Gujarat, PM Modi signaled the start of the third Vande Bharat Express last month. This train travels between Mumbai and Gandhinagar.
Separately, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also formally lay the cornerstones for two hydropower projects in Bulk Drug Park and the Chamba district of Himachal.
Over 1900 crore will be spent on the construction of the Bulk Drug Park. The park will lessen reliance on imports of API.
As stated in a statement from the prime minister’s office (PMO), it is anticipated to draw investment of over Rs. 10,000 crore and recruit more than 20,000 people.

The 48 MW Chanju-III hydroelectric project and the 30 MW Deothal Chanju hydroelectric project, which would produce more than 270 million units of power annually.
Both have the foundation stone laid by PM Modi. These projects are anticipated to bring in approximately 110 crore in annual revenue for Himachal Pradesh.
In Himachal Pradesh, PM Modi will also introduce the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-III. Additionally, he will speak at two open forums in Chamba and Una.
For this phase, the Center has approved more than 420 crore for the improvement of 440 km of roads in 15 border and remote blocks of the state.
PM Narendra Modi will be among the civilians of Himachal Pradesh today, 13th October. He said that he is looking forward to the programmes in Una & Chamba.
There will be many development works inaugurated which are aimed at further increasing the pace of progress in the state.

PM Modi shared a tweet and said on Wednesday,
“You would be glad to know that the Vande Bharat Express would be flagged off. IIIT, Una will also be dedicated to the nation.
The foundation stone of a Bulk Drug Park will be laid. The foundation stone for two hydropower projects will also be laid. These works will give wings to people’s aspirations.”
