India Shines At Asian Games 2023 With 21 Gold, 32 Silver, 34 Bronze
The Indian athletes are doing really well at the Asian Games 2023. They have won a lot of medals in different sports. India has won 86 medals, including 21 golds.
India has achieved several victories in different sports at the ongoing Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou. In the women’s recurve archery event, India won the bronze medal by defeating Vietnam.
They also secured a place in the final of the women’s kabaddi event by defeating Nepal with an impressive score of 61-17.
This win marked their highest score in the Games so far. In wrestling, both Sonam and Aman won their pre-quarterfinal matches and advanced to the next round.
The Indian women’s compound archery team made a remarkable comeback to narrowly defeat their rivals from Chinese Taipei in the final, earning India its second gold medal in archery.
With this victory, India’s total medal count now stands at 86, including 21 gold medals, 32 silver medals, and 33 bronze medals.
However, there was a setback for Indian women’s badminton player PV Sindhu as she couldn’t secure a victory in the women’s singles match.
