India’s First Brain Training Lab for Athletes has been Launched by Woxsen and SixS

A landmark initiative by Indian sports, Woxsen University and SixS Sports & Business Solutions inaugurated India’s first-ever Brain Training Lab for the athlete. The lab opened on Woxsen Sports Academy and offers science and sports under one umbrella training ground for the minds of athletes and not just their bodies.
This novel method looked into helping athletes improve their focus, reaction time, and decision making essential factors to their performance on the ground. Woxsen combines the application of neuroscience with physical training to shape champions for the future.
- Xsens Motion Capture System–Accords complete mobility to view the subject from all angles using 3D body movements tracking in real-time without being confined within the walls of the laboratory. It helps coaches in the analysis of movements of an athlete while performing.
- Motion Sensor Insoles–Just fit smart soles within shoes and measure applied pressure while moving. It produces laboratory results without being in a laboratory!
- Delsys EMG (Electromyography)–Measure muscles behavior during workout or recovery -the machines provide a detailed insight into how muscles react in various situations.
These technologies will help athletes train more smartly and recover faster standing away. The launch event had personalities from the sports world as well as leaders in attendance, including Pullela Gopichand, Anju Bobby George, MSK Prasad, Dr. Raul Rodriguez of Woxsen University, and other sports and fitness experts from across the country. Their shared vision: to put India on the global map of advanced sports science and athlete development. Woxsen University, by this very inception, is changing the landscape for sports training in India-merging the mind with muscle.
