India Begins Work on 6G Technology to Align with Global Powers

India Telecom Secretary K Rajaraman has ordered state-owned telecom company C-DoT to begin work on the 6G network and other cutting-edge technologies to align with the global market.

Huawei, Samsung, LG, and various other companies have begun work on 6G technologies which are supposed to be 50 times faster than 5G. The commercial launch of 6G will be between 2028-2030. 

What is the 6G Network?

A 6G is the future’s fastest networking technology after 5G, expanding on the renewed infrastructure and advanced capacity set up on millimeter-wave 5G networks.

Utilizing higher-frequency radio bands 6G will provide much faster internet that will enable excellent performance from mobile devices, computers, e-cars, and much more.
