India – Telecom Secretary K Rajaraman has ordered state-owned telecom company C-DoT to begin work on the 6G network and other cutting-edge technologies to align with the global market.

Huawei, Samsung, LG, and various other companies have begun work on 6G technologies which are supposed to be 50 times faster than 5G. The commercial launch of 6G will be between 2028-2030.
