The National Cinema Day in India is celebrated on October 13. On this day you can get movie tickets at discounted prices as low as ₹99.
This initiative is being taken by the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) across the country to make it easier for people to access movies and celebrate the success of the film industry.

1. Online Booking
- Go to websites like Paytm, BookMyShow, or the multiplex’s website.
- Select the movie you want to watch.
- Pick the date, in this case, Friday.
- Check if your chosen movie is available for ₹99 (excluding some international movies).
- Follow the steps to complete the booking.
2. Offline Booking
You can visit the cinema theater or multiplex directly and buy tickets at the counter as usual.
