‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign: Here Is How You Can Set Your Patriotic DP

With Independence Day approaching, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged people to use the Indian flag, also known as “Tiranga,” as their social media profile picture.

This movement, called “Har Ghar Tiranga,” aims to promote unity and patriotism by having citizens display the national flag on their profiles.

PM Modi himself changed his profile picture to the Tiranga on various social media platforms.

Step-By-Step Process To Set DP

If you’re unaware how to do this, here’s a step-by-step guide for different social media platforms:

  2. Choose the “Choose Frame” option.

Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and tap your profile icon.
  2. Click “Edit Profile” and then “Change Profile Photo.”
  3. Choose “New Profile Photo” and select the Indian flag image you saved.
  4. The Indian flag will now appear as your profile picture.

WhatsApp

  1. Open WhatsApp and tap your profile picture.
  2. Click the camera icon and choose the Indian flag image.
  3. Click “Done.”

Twitter

  1. Open Twitter and click your profile picture.
  2. Select “Edit Profile” and change your profile picture.
  3. Upload the Indian flag image you saved and click “Save.”

Special ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Caller Tune

In addition to changing profile pictures, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign has brought back the special caller tune “Har Ghar Tiranga” for phone calls.

This caller tune was also used last year as part of the campaign. The Union Culture Ministry initiated the campaign to encourage people to hoist the national flag at their homes between August 13-15.

PM Modi has urged Indians to participate actively in this campaign and to upload pictures with the national flag on the “Har Ghar Tiranga” website.

He also recommended changing social media display pictures to the Tiranga to strengthen the connection between citizens and the country.

To support this movement, rallies and events are being organized across the country. The goal is to unite the nation by celebrating Independence Day and showing our pride and respect for the Indian flag.
