The teaser of Nayanthara’s upcoming horror film Connect was released on her 38th birthday. The film promises audiences a pure horror experience without any interval.
The teaser begins with a brief peek of some well-known locations in Chennai that appear to be completely lifeless.
The film’s lead actors, Nayanthara and Sathyaraj, are then quickly cut through in a series of reaction scenes.
A young girl’s voice can be heard in the teaser. Untie me, mama, she cries. I’m terrified. A character played by Anupam Kher gives Susan, another character, the order to enter the girl’s chamber.
Nayanthara appears to portray Susan. As she walks into the room, she notices that the knots on the bed have been undone.
She notices a young girl bound to the bed as she turns her head away and then back.
Connect is the second film that Ashwin Saravanan has directed with Nayanthara.
A supernatural thriller called Maya was their debut movie. Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara’s spouse, is in charge of producing it. The release of Connect is scheduled for December 22.
The movie is a horror-thriller staged during the Indian shutdown, according to director Ashwin.
Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, directed by Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh Shivan, was just released. Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu both starred in the romantic comedy.
Nayanthara played Kanmani Ganguly, a character in the movie who falls in love with Vijay Sethupathi’s. At the same time, Samantha’s character loves him.
Her latest release in Tamil was the thriller 02, which takes place entirely inside a bus that becomes stranded in a landslide.
Nayanthara also starred as Chiranjeevi’s sister in the Telugu movie Godfather.
On November 19, the actress Nayanthara, who turns 38 today, released the spine-tingling Connect trailer, which was made by her spouse Vignesh Shivan.
Sathyaraj, Vinay Rai, and Bollywood actor Anupam Kher all play significant roles in the 95-minute, non-intermission horror thriller Connect.
Connect, directed by Ashwin Saravanan of Game Over and co-written by his wife Kaavya Ramkumar, will hit theaters on December 22, 2022.
The film’s director, Ashwin Saravanan, previously collaborated with Nayanthara on the neo-noir horror flick Maya from 2015.
