Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: Cinematic Inspired Ganpati Idols Across India
This year many filmy avatars of Ganapati (Lord Ganesh) are being seen all over the country. The Ganapati idols are seen in the avatar of RRR & Pushpa movie characters.
RRR, the magnum opus of S Rajamouli, is a sensation with Indian audiences. The movie has been praised by Hollywood celebrities in addition to being a domestic box office hit.
Even six months after the movie’s debut, RRR continues to have an impact on Ganesh Chaturthi, one of India’s most significant holidays.
This year, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations begin on August 31 and culminate on September 9 with Ganesh Visarjan.
This time, a lot of Ganesha sculptures and idols have been made in the image of Ram Charan from the movie, and the responses from customers have been amazing.
The main plot of RRR, a fictionalized story of two revolutionaries in pre-independent India, centers on the journeys of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaraman, who are alternately portrayed by Jr.
NTR and Ram Charan. The clothing worn by Ram Charan was significantly influenced by earlier cinematic or cultural representations of Lord Rama.
Many Ganesh idols appear to have been inspired by this particular appearance, and audiences are not upset by it.
The RRR cast also includes some well-known faces like Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris in addition to the principal performers.

Several accounts belonging to the movie’s fandom have posted images of Ganpati idols that have been fashioned to resemble one of Ram Charan’s well-known stills.
Another shot from the movie served as the inspiration for numerous social media pictures that showed Ganpati fending against a tiger.
This is not the first time, incidentally, that one of SS Rajamouli’s films has had such a massive effect on the box office and succeeded to spark a type of cultural phenomenon.
Similar waves were generated by the Rajamouli-directed film Baahubali, which was released in 2015.
The aesthetics of the film influenced a flood of Ganpati idols back then. Similar idols are still available this year on the market.
