Final Results of Assembly Elections 2023 In 4 States, Meet Winning Parties

The Assembly Elections 2023 of four states: Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana, have been completed successfully. And finally, we got the final results of all these 4 states.

In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged victorious. This marks a significant achievement for the BJP, as they are set to form governments in these three states. 

Specifically, in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, this result signifies a change in power, as these were previously held by the Congress party. In Rajasthan too, the BJP has managed to secure a win, continuing its trend of success.

Moving to Telangana, the scenario is quite different. Here, the Indian National Congress (INC) has gained the majority. 

This is a crucial victory for the Congress, as they will now form the government in Telangana, overthrowing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) led by K Chandrashekhar Rao. This result in Telangana is particularly noteworthy because it breaks the state’s previous stronghold of the BRS.

Now, let’s talk about the numbers and the parties forming governments. In Telangana, the Congress has secured a clear majority with 63 seats in a 119-member constituency. The BRS managed to win 40 seats, while the BJP lagged behind with only 8 seats. The All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Communist Party of India (CPI) won 7 and 1 seats, respectively.

In contrast, the BJP’s performance in the other three states – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh – was strong, leading them to form governments there. This shift in power, especially in states like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, where the Congress was previously in power, is a significant political change.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed gratitude to all the voters for their support, despite the BJP’s loss in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked the people of all 4 states for their growing support over the years and promised continued work for the state’s development. 

On the other hand, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge thanked the people of Telangana for their mandate and acknowledged the need for the Congress to rebuild and revive in the other three states.

So, the BJP is set to form governments in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, while the Congress has won in Telangana, indicating a diverse political landscape in these significant states.
