Famous American actor Joe Lara along with wife Gwen dies in a plane crash
Joe Lara, an american actor known for portraying the title character in the Tarzan series died in a plane crash on Saturday. Along with the Tarzan actor, his wife and fellow passengers are also presumed to be dead.
All the seven passengers were reportedly flying on a small business jet that crashed near the US city of Nashville, confirm the authorities. Some of the details were revealed on social media handles that if everything were to add up, the accident took place only minutes after the jet took off from the Smyrna Tennessee airport for Palm Beach, Florida.
The jet directly crashed into a lake called Percy Priest Lake, which is nearly 12 miles south of Nashville. As per a report in the CNN, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed seven people were inside the plane while the crash took place on May 29.
“We are no longer in an attempt to (look) for live victims at this point so we’re now recovering as much as we can from the crash site,” said the RCFR incident commander Captain Joshua Sanders in a press conference.
The 52-year-old actor received a lot of popularity after his role in Tarzan: The Epic Adventures. The television series ran from 1996 to 1997.
Lara played Tarzan in the 1989 television movie “Tarzan in Manhattan.” He later starred in the television series “Tarzan: The Epic Adventures,” which ran from 1996-1997. He was also known for his roles in Operation Delta Force and Hologram Man.

The authorities confirmed the incident for May 29 and said that the seven people to die during the crash were- William J. (Joe) Lara, Gwen Shamblin Lara, Jennifer J. Martin, David L. Martin, Jessica Walters, Jonathan Walters, and Brandon Hannah.
