Elon Musk Explores Starlink Opportunities in Indonesia, China, and Sri Lanka
Elon Musk recently visited Indonesia and China too. He met with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the 10th World Water Forum in Bali.
After cancelling the trip to India Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is thinking of implementing Starlink internet services in China and Indonesia. At the event of 10TH World Water Forum Musk met with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and discussed the opportunity for Starlink in Sri Lanka.
Musk’s Visit and Launch Event in Bali
Elon Musk inaugurated Starlink services at a community health center in Bali with Indonesian government representatives. The event highlighted the importance of internet connectivity, in underserved areas, for sectors like healthcare and education.
After this launch Starlink expanded its reach to over 17,000 islands in Indonesia.

CEO Elon Musk canceled his India visit:
Before attending the World Water Forum meeting in Bali, Elon Musk’s meeting was to be held in India from 20 to 22 April. But it got canceled.
CEO said Unfortunately, very heavy Tesla obligations require that the visit to India be delayed, but I do very much look forward to visiting later this year.
According to sources, Elon Musk was planning to announce Starlink expansion in India. The announcement could include a $2-3 billion EV manufacturing facility and some Starlink-related development projects.
India awaits announcement as Musk plans to meet officials in Delhi.
