Elephant Smashes the People in a Festival in Malappuram. A Man reported in a Critical Condition!
The video featuring a well-adorned elephant goes on a rampage during the festival is circulated virally on social media. The tragic incident took place at Malappuram in Kerala during the annual festival called as Puthiyangadi Festival by the local people at a mosque on Tuesday night. Around seventeen individuals have been injured in which one man is reported to be in a critical condition.
In the video, we can clearly observe five elephants standing in a row and one of the elephants loses its control, goes on a rampage and lifts & throws a man. Hundreds of people who had gathered became panicked and ran away from the angry elephant. They try to rescue the man who gets caught by the elephant. The name of the elephant has also been revealed as ‘Pakkathu Sreekuttan’. After the continuous two hours of struggle, a group of men pacified the raging elephant. The severely injured man is now been hospitalised in a hospital at Kotakkal.
