Ed Sheeran’s Spectacle India Tour in 2025: Controversy Whirling Around the Opening Day of Tickets for Concert
The radiant multi-faceted English singer and song-writer, Ed Sheeran has scheduled his dazzling return to India for a concert in 2025 after his mesmerising concert which took place on March of 2024. The concert will take place in the five metropolitan cities of India which includes Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune and an urban city of Meghalaya, Shillong.
Fans were exuberantly waiting to book the tickets for ‘Ed Sheeran’s 2025’ India tour at the respective cities which began on Wednesday (December 11,2024) at 4 pm on the Book My Show portal. There were four types of tickets divided for the Ed Sheeran’s 2025 concert ‘Stands, General Admission, General Admission plus, and HSBC Starstruck Lounge.
In the multiple venues the ticket price began with Rs.1200. It is reported that the price of General Admission P1 and other categories varies in different cities like Pune – 3,500 to 24,000, Hyderabad – 3,500 to 8,500, Bengaluru it ranged upto Rs.28,000.
Many expressed their dismay when the tickets (predominantly General Admission) were sold out in just a few seconds. And the uneven ticket prices in the six different cities also disappointed the fans of the contemporary English artist Ed Sheeran. They shared their unpleasant experience on their social media platforms (in particular X), one of the users tweeted ‘Ed Sheeran sold out in 2 mins?? I am so disappointed!’ and many disenchanted fans’ tweets are popping up. But still, tickets are available in all the six cities on the BMS.
